Another new hire! Today we are welcoming Ryan Holland as an addition to the BaseballCloud team and he will be serving in a part-time Analytics Coordinator role as he finishes up his Master's in Applied Statistics at LSU.
Like Will Stern, Ryan also began as an unpaid R&D intern this past summer and worked incredibly hard on the projects that he took on. Ryan's main project was the "Points of Contact" feature of BallR that will be available this fall. This will allow coaches to get an accurate representation of how different grips actually affect the flight of the baseball, based on the size of a pitcher's hands and finger placement.
